Welcome to the 2010 Yamaha Lake Hume Classic,this years event is hoping to be bigger and better than ever.The following information will be given out upon registration
Entry fees
Adults: $60.00
Juniors:$25.00 (under 15 on the 5th November 2010)
This what you get for your entry fee
- Two meals , Saturday night dinner and a sausage sizzle on Sunday
- An Information pack with all the relevant info to the event, stubby holder,pamphlets and stickers,map of weigh stations
- Entry into major prize draw
- Entry into many lucky door prizes
- Junior and Ladies entrants get a lure from the Lucky Lure box
Registration: Friday 5th November ,3.00pm to 8.30pm at the Lake Hume Tourist Park Marquee. Saturday 6th November from 5.00am to 11.00am at the Lake Hume Tourist Park Marquee behind the waterslide
Fishing Times
Saturday 6th of November,2010: 6.30am to 6.30pm/weigh station closes 6.35pm sharp
Sunday 7th of November,2010: 6.30am to 10.30am/weigh stations closes 10.35am sharp
Weigh Stations
- Bowna waters reserve
- Merkels reserve
- Drummonds reserve
- Lake Hume Resort Boat ramp
- Ebden reserve
There will also be up to 6 on the water registration boats these are registering yellowbelly only as well as the big bbq boat which will be for all species and also a lunch boat on Saturday mainly around One Tree Island area,these will all be mobile and will move between yellow bank and the resort over the course of the weekend.All weigh stations are subject to change depending on water levels.Fish not released will have tail clipped after registration
Measuring Guidelines
Please do not present fish under these minimum lengths:
250mm for Redfin
300mm for trout
300mm for Yellowbelly Catch and Release
Carp can be any size,remember it is an offence to return carp alive to the water
Competition Boundaries
The 2010 Lake Hume Classic will be held in the confines of Lake Hume from the Wymah Ferry on the Murray arm to Tallangatta on the Mitta arm. Competitors caught fishing outside these boundaries will be disqualified and ineligible for any prizes. NB.this is subject to change depending on Lake levels
Prizes and Presentations
The presentation of prizes will be held immediately after the collation of results.This is estimated to be around 1.00pm on Sunday the 7th of November 2010.
In the event that there is more than one fish of equal longest length in a particular category, the first fish registered at a weigh station will be deemed the winner
Lucky Door Prizes will be conducted after the Saturday Night dinner and the Competitors must be in attendance to receive their prize and must present their registration card to claim a prize. If the prize is not claimed in 2 minutes it will be redrawn.
The Pool and Waterslide will be open and manned on the Saturday evening and Sunday for all to use at no charge
Meals
Please remember that your registration card in the Lake Hume Classic 2010 entitles you to 2 free meals on Saturday evening and Sunday lunchtime at the Lake Hume Tourist Park at the Marquee

A Dinner will be provided on Saturday evening from 6.30pm until 8.30pm sharp($10 for non competitors under 16 free)

A sausage sizzle will be provided on Sunday from 11.00am till 12.30pm prior to prize presentations.Gold coin donation for non competitors

Registration cards must be presented for all meals.

Meals for non competitors on Saturday evening are available at a further cost(free for under 16's,$10 for adults).

Bar will be open from 5.00pm till 9.30pm on the Saturday evening and 11.00am till 2.00pm on Sunday.
Please Note:For more detailed explanation of Rules and Regulations, please see Lake Hume Classic staff at registration area during fishing times. It is up to the Competitors to know and abide by all the fishing and boating rules that pertain to this Lake. If unsure Ask as ignorance will make it an expensive weekend for you.
