Prize Categories

Over $50,000 in prizes.

This year’s major prize is a Quintrex boat, trailer and a Mercury outboard motor. All entries will go into the draw.

The Leigh Martin Marine Mercury Classic will once again have the four categories of fish species as well as the teams event. The sections will be as follows:

 Champion Angler

Prizes will be awarded for overall champion in Senior and Junior. Senior is a combined category of both Male and Female competitors. Juniors will  be a combined male and female category also. Winner determined by overall length of Yellow belly caught.

Seniors and Juniors

If more than one angler has the same length or total length of fish in a category the winner will be determined by earliest fish registered

  • 10 x random draws for both Senior and Junior

Red Fin

Teams Event

We welcome Daiwa as the major sponsors of the teams event. Teams of 4 anglers, total length of Yellow Belly only, no other fish count towards champion team.

Lure Wall

This year we will have a lure wall, all competitors who donate and put a lure, old, new, ugly, different, on to the wall will go into a draw on Sunday, first number drawn out wins the wall. Only 1 lure per competitor gets you 1 entry into draw. No single soft plastics, whole packets only.
